Ms. McMurdo’s practice focuses on discovery issues for tire manufacturers and industry organizations, including the protection of trade secrets in discovery. In addition to her pretrial and trial work, Ms. McMurdo has participated in appellate arguments on behalf of those clients in numerous state supreme courts, successfully protecting tire manufacturers’ trade secrets from disclosure in litigation. Ms. McMurdo also counsels her clients on document retention and document production issues, including electronic discovery, and has represented her clients in discovery disputes in state and federal courts across the country.
Ms. McMurdo joined Moran Reeves & Conn in August 2000 following a judicial clerkship with the Fourth Judicial District Court in Norfolk, Virginia.
Ms. McMurdo graduated from the University of Virginia and University of Virginia School of Law and currently makes her home in Charlottesville, Virginia. She enjoys spending time outside with her family and dog, cheering for the Virginia Cavaliers, and visiting local wineries.
