Through her associate general counsel position at Circuit City Stores, Inc., she gained extensive experience managing complex commercial and intellectual property litigation.  In addition, she responded to subpoenas and government investigations, drafted contracts and provided general business advice.

In 2008, Circuit City recognized her with the North Star Award from over 300 nominations.  This award was created to recognize employees who delivered superior service to customers, associates and communities.  She was nominated by her internal clients for her ability to understand the business and provide practical advice to reduce the risk of litigation, as well as to aggressively defend litigation to reach a favorable result.
