We hire only the best. When hiring lawyers, we look for those individuals who possess not only "book smarts," but the instinctive "street smarts" required of natural litigators. We also place great trust and pride in our team of highly experienced paralegals, who, as our clients can attest, are some of the best in the field and are always integral members of the team.
We train our lawyers and staff. The only proving ground for litigators is the courtroom, and we endeavor to get our lawyers in courtroom settings early and often and in as many different types of cases as possible. Beyond litigation skills, we require each lawyer and staff member involved in a particular matter to become intimately knowledgeable about the client, its business and its goals in the litigation.
We invest in technology. Moran Reeves & Conn PC will put its technological infrastructure and capabilities against that of any competitor. Our document management databases permit us to handle efficiently litigation involving hundreds of thousands of pages of documents; our proprietary case management databases allow the efficient and reliable monitoring of hundreds of cases for clients for whom we serve as national coordinating and national discovery counsel; and our various extranet applications – tailored to the needs of each client – allow up-to-date reporting to clients and effective communication between clients and their outside counsel. When the needs of a case dictate, we have the ability to turn a country courthouse into a state of the art audio-visual theater, complete with the latest in trial presentation technology. Just as importantly, our trial team (yes, even the lawyers) are trained in the use of this technology.
